Information from their website: “M. Graham watercolors are made with Northwest blackberry honey, recalling the practice of early artists who drew from nature for their materials as well as their subjects. This traditional base creates willing watercolors ready for your brush and yields even, fluid washes. Honey also allows for stronger, truer colors. With a complete range of pleasing pigments โ from delicate tints to dark, concentrated colors โ youโll discover more color possibilities with M. Graham watercolors.”
My verdict: M. Graham is a high quality honey based range with ample but not overwhelming number of colors. M. Graham will be amazing if you live in a dry hot area where none honey paints dry up too hard. If you live in a more humid and colder area, these paints won’t fully set and require careful storing when paletted out. Their customer service is absolutely top notch as well. I had a problem with their Cobalt Violet and emailed them. They were more than happy to send out a replacement from the US to the UK at no charge. I also have to thank them for sending me several tubes for free for me to test. Overall, M. Graham is one I would recommend first if you are looking for a honey based brand.
